The District 112 Foundation is guided by a Strategic Plan that aims to fulfill our mission by increasing our impact in schools and strengthening the organization for the long term.
With input from key stakeholders — teachers, administrators, parents, and community supporters — an updated Strategic Plan was adopted by the Board of Directors in June 2021. This three-year plan builds on a plan originally approved in 2018 and will see the Foundation through 2024.
The plan maintains a commitment to our mission and focuses on four key strategies:
Expand our visibility and promote community understanding and support for public education.
Improve fundraising, expand our base of regular donors and maintain or create development programs to support our mission.
Increase our impact by expanding on existing programs and exploring new program development.
Strengthen the organization through sound management and financial practices supported by an involved and dedicated Board.
