I know that we have all been looking forward to the Harlem Wizards basketball game, but the health and safety of our students, staff, community members, and the Wizard players themselves must always come first.
We have found ourselves in uncharted territory. The influx of information, data, and procedures regarding the COVID-19 virus continues to be fluid and rapidly changing. CDC guidelines as of March 15th recommend no group gatherings of 50 or more people for the next 8 weeks, which brings us to May 10th. As such, our Harlem Wizards basketball game is currently being postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date, yet to be determined. The Wizards have suspended all games and assemblies through May 10th at the earliest.
We will continue to be in touch as we learn more about the rescheduling process. Thank you for your understanding.
Stay tuned for more information coming soon about the re-scheduled Harlem Wizards game as they take on the 112 All-Stars team comprised of teachers and staff. We hope you’ll join us for an evening of tricks, hoops, and alley-oops!
OSR Physical Therapy‘s Athletic Trainer will be providing excellent care to the Harlem Wizards. The Wizards play more than 150 games in an 8-month time frame, so taking care of their health is a top priority!
