Having served as an educator in the public school system for over 40 years, Arlene is a firm believer in the importance of investing in children. She believes in the value of community and schools working together to provide meaningful learning experience for children of all ages. Schools do not do it alone. It is this belief that has inspired her involvement in the District 112 Foundation Board. Our schools and our teachers do a phenomenal job of working with a wonderfully diverse group of students. They deserve strong community support in this noble endeavor. Through her involvement in the Foundation Board, she hopes to work with others to connect school and community in practical and meaningful ways.
Arlene is a resident of Chaska for nearly 38 years and was one of the original founding members of the District 112 Foundation Board of Directors. She re-joined the Board of Directors in 2018 and is now Chair-Elect, as well as the Chair of the Board Affairs Committee.
