Who is the District 112 Foundation?

Through a dynamic public-private partnership with Eastern Carver County Schools, the District 112 Foundation serves more than 9,800 students in 15 educational facilities. Since its formation in 1988, the foundation has funneled more than $203,000 to the teachers and students of Eastern Carver County Schools through 200+ grants. The foundation’s unique role is vital to meeting the educational needs of our community’s children while providing partnership opportunities for businesses, community leaders, and citizens to directly impact public schools.

Within Eastern Carver County Schools, there are always needs that fall outside what tax dollars provide for and budgets can accommodate. This can take many forms. Sometimes students need help meeting their basic needs of food, clothing, and technology. Other times, our teachers and educators want to bring innovative learning tools and opportunities into their classrooms, but there’s no room in their budgets.

Whether we’re providing for the basic needs of our students or enabling innovative learning opportunities, the District 112 Foundation is committed to engaging our community and partnering with staff to enrich the lives of our kids. An investment in our students and their teachers is an investment in our community and our future…and it’s an investment we can only make through the generosity of businesses, families, and individuals in our community. Together, we will do great things for Eastern Carver County Schools.
